Information we collect

• Beta requests. When you request beta access we collect the details you submit - your name, email, role, wedding month, optional guest count and any message - to evaluate and respond to your request.
• Wedding information from hosts. Couples and planners provide wedding details and guest lists so Maya can answer guest questions. This is supplied by, and remains under the direction of, the host.
• Guest messages. When a guest messages Maya on WhatsApp, the conversation is processed to provide an answer or to escalate to the hosts.

How information is used

Information is used to operate the concierge: to answer guest questions from host-supplied data, to escalate decisions to the hosts, and to communicate with you about the beta. A guest only ever sees their own details, and one guest’s information is not shared with another.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Information is shared only with the service providers needed to operate Maya (for example, messaging and hosting providers), with Meta and Google if you accept our cookies (see below), and as required by law.

Cookies, analytics and ad measurement

This website asks before setting any analytics or advertising cookies. If you accept, we load the Meta Pixel, which sets a cookie and tells Meta (the company behind Instagram and Facebook) about your visit - the pages you view and, if it happens, that you sent us a request or booked Maya, with the amount and an order reference so a booking is only counted once - so we can see which of our ads work and reach people like you. Meta handles that information under its own privacy policy. If you’ve accepted cookies and fill in a form here, the pixel may also send Meta a scrambled version of details such as your name, email or phone number, so Meta can match your visit to your Meta account. Meta can’t read them as plain text.

If you accept, we also load Google Analytics, which sets cookies to count visits and show us how the site is used - the pages you view, how you arrived, your device and approximate location and, if it happens, that you sent us a request or booked Maya, with the same amount and order reference. Our Google Analytics is linked to our Google Ads account, so Google also uses this to measure our Google ads - for example, whether someone who clicked one of our ads went on to request a spot. We don’t use it for remarketing or to personalise the ads you see. Google handles that information under its own privacy policy (see also how Google uses information from sites that use its services).

The cookies, if you accept:

• _ga and _ga_… - Google Analytics, to tell visits apart. Last up to 2 years.
• _gcl_aw and other _gcl_… cookies - Google, set when you arrive from one of our Google ads, so the visit can be credited to that ad. Last up to 90 days.
• _fbp and _fbc - Meta, to connect a visit to our ads. Last up to 90 days.

If you decline, neither loads. If you change your mind later and decline, we switch both off straight away and delete their cookies from this site.
